      @Supermule:

      Why are you running AMD64 version on Intel CPU?

      AMD64 is the 64 bit x86 architecture used by AMD, Intel, VIA and others. Every x86 64 bit CPU is AMD64.

        I read it all Chris….thats why the confusion is there.

        AMD64 was created as an alternative to the radically different IA-64 architecture, which was designed by Intel and Hewlett Packard. Originally announced in 1999[10] with a full specification in August 2000,[11] the AMD64 architecture was positioned by AMD from the beginning as an evolutionary way to add 64-bit computing capabilities to the existing x86 architecture, as opposed to Intel's approach of creating an entirely new 64-bit architecture with IA-64.

        The first AMD64-based processor, the Opteron, was released in April 2003.

        As I see it, there is quite a mix up in names regarding the architecture possibilities…

          @cmb:

          There's no setting for how many columns you have, you should just be able to drag widgets over to that side and save them there.

          I know that I can drag widgets, that's why i'm here coz it's no longer working for me no matter what! after the snort widget has been installed .. i had problems and then I uninstalled and so as for snort as well and restarted pfsense couple times. I also replaced the index.php file located in /usr/local/www with another version that's working on another pfsense machine but that didn't change anything.

          I opened the file and checked if the column code are the same in both, the malfunctioned page and the working one even before and it seems to be the same.

          // columns = ['col1','col2'];
          // ]]>

          Is there anyway to just reset it back to default?  and if not how do I find out if there are any errors/conflicts that are currently causing this ? any logs to look at?

          THanks

            You can hand-edit your config and remove the widgets section, or copy over it with the widgets section from /conf.default/config.xml

                      Did you follow Jim's suggestion and replace the section of your config with the default?

                        From the shell or diag > command in the SHELL exec box:

                        rm /usr/local/www/widgets/*/*snort*

                        If that alone doesn't help, then in the PHP Exec box, use:

                        unset($config['widgets']);
                        write_config("Reset Widgets");
