SNMP-OIDs for monitoring pfsense via MRTG
-
Hi @ all,
I try to monitor a few pfsense-boxes with MRTG. After a lot of searching (in furums and google) I found out some OIDs:
cpuLoad .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.8
users .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.5.0
processes .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1.6.0
disk-size / .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.5.3
disk-usage / .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.6.3But I cannot find OIDs for memory-size and memory-usage or free memory.
Can anybody help?
Regards, Karl

You should run snmpwalk against the pfsense box to get a complete list of reported OIDs.

It's in the usual/expected place on 2.1 with the UCD module on.
Here are the MIBs for other modules/sections that can help:

Hi,
did you try this? It gives 4824 results, a bit of work what you need - especially if it is something most of you would monitor. But thanks nontheless,

Hi,
thank you for this tip, but I had found this already. The pity is, that I am too dumb to construct the numerical OIDs from these texts. :-((
Can you point me somewhere, where I can find an explanation of how to do this?

The below are from the Cisco SNMP Object Navigator. They may or may not be the ones you are looking for, and if not you may be able to find the ones you want there by searching.
