      Goal:
      My goal is to setup a pfSense template in VMware vCloud and then be able to instantiate it and configure the nics with ips from a static pool.

      So far:
      I managed to create the template and install VMware tools. However the guest customization will not work. The ip settings will remain the default ones I used during the creation of vm. I tried to trick vCloud by specifying that I have a different distribution of linux (not freebsd) but that didn't work.

      Questions:
      Did anyone tried to do this or have similar problems? Or maybe have any suggestions on how can I make the guest customization work automatically?
