hey all. i have setup a pfsense 2.0.3-RELEASE (amd64)  server at my main location. Two clients also using pfsense 2.0.3-RELEASE (amd64) are connecting but both getting the same the virtual address on the openvpn tunnel of 10.0.8.2 even if a change the server tunnel parameters to 172.16.0.0/24 they still get the same virtual ip of 10.0.8.2. server mode set to remote access(ssl/tls) and clients are set to peer to peer (ssl/tls). any advice on the cause of this?

ok i resolved the issue with both clients getting the same virtual ip address. now the computers on the client lan can't ping the computers in the server lan unless i use a machine from teh server lan to ping a machine on the client lan.

Do you have firewall rules on the server end OpenVPN to allow traffic from the client subnet/s?
(There must be rules at the client end allowing traffic from the server, since you can make a connection from server LAN to client LAN)

As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."
