Couple of issues with the new forum are really becoming annoying and negatively impacting forum participation.  :'(

      1. The new forum breaks the browser back button.  :(
        (Windows 8, IE 10)

      2. The dynamic vertical size of the news section a the top cause the forums list to jump when it loads.    :D

IE10 is actually a very good browser!

It pulls the pants of Chrome without breaking a sweat!

This is when you are accessing the forum via https presumably?
              Any more details available?

""Internet Explorer blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors.""

And what certificates were those?  You sure it was just not error about unsecure items on the page?

This is the warning I get from firefox when accessing the forum via https – looking at source I see that there are images pulled from http:// - like avatars, signatures, etc.

This is going to be expected when site in question uses images from other sources or allows for users to place images from sources, etc. in their signatures..  Not really much that can be done with stuff like that.

To remove such errors you would have to have all content being served from https source secured by pfsense cert, or would have to require that all images and such that user could point to use a valid trusted https url, etc.  That seems unlikely if you ask me.

What could possibly be on pfsense forum other than say your login creds that would justify a https session?

"IE10 is actually a very good browser!"

Yes - I was particularly impressed with IE10 the other day when visiting a site with a self signed cert and the only option provided was not to go to the site.  It was quite a fulfilling experience.  Luck for me both Chrome and Firefox had no problems.
