My captive portal doesn't really show

so when i turn on captive portal (enable it) and then try to go to google.com or bing.com or anything, it just hangs there.

At first i thought it must be dns forwarder, but i checked and it's enabled.

i can clearly access the web config panel without logging in again.

i can get the portal page to come up if i try going to google by putting in "74.125.159.104" in the browser.

I can't ping anything until i log in.

any help is greatly appreciated.

If your DHCP configuration doesn't set your pfsense box as a DNS server then captive portal won't work.
