OpenVPN site-to-site issue

i have fully read the pfsense documents
there was mention site to site is very easy setup and i followed as it as. **SERVER SIDE

my settings is
Server mode - peer to peer shared key
protocol - udp
interface - wan
Shared Key - automatic

tunnel network 10.0.8.1/30
local network 172.16.0.0/16
remote network 192.168.0.0/16

CLIENT SIDE

Server mode - peer to peer shared key
protocol - udp
interface - wan
Shared Key - PASTE SERVER CERTIFICARE

Server host or address - my static public ip

tunnel network 10.0.8.2/30
remote network 172.16.0.0/16

save

some times server status show up and some times server status show down
i could not understand what i do.
when server is show up
then i have try to ping front end pfsense lan ip its pinging
but not ping lan pc's

i already create a wan rule source any protocol any destination any

still m failed
pls help and guide,

what should i do to its working and where i wrong configuration.
