URL Table - Update Frequency

Hello there,

I'm currently running the 2.0-Release of pfSense. I created an alias using a URL table, but have questions when or if this gets constantly updated. Could someone tell me what the update frequency for pfSense to read this URL table is? When the alias is first created, the update frequency is greyed out showing 32. I'm guessing that doesn't mean anything. After I save and edit the entry, it shows an update frequency greyed out at 7.

Searching the forums here didn't turn up to many hits, but I saw someone say that it will update daily. But does daily mean 24 hours after the initial download from the URL? Or is there a specific time it runs it's daily cron (Could this be in a config somewhere I might have missed)?

This is the cron job of update_urltables
30 12 * * * root /usr/bin/nice -n20 /etc/rc.update_urltables

If you need to update it more often, install cron package to edit this schedule or use pfblocker lists.

That update script checks the timestamp of the file to see when it was last updated, and it won't update it for a week. Though if you edit the code that does that check (follow the code from that rc script) it should be easy to work around.
