      I have a HE IPv6 tunnel configured here, with WAN connected via VDSL PPPoE link. This used to work perfectly fine on 2.1. With 2.1.1 pre-release, the GIF interface is offline after reboot. Need to go to Interfaces, select the tunnel interface, save and apply changes (no changes really made), then everything works again.

      This does not happen on other boxes where PPPoE is not used for WAN.

      Version	2.1.1-PRERELEASE (i386)
      built on Fri Jan 17 15:24:46 EST 2014
      FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE-p14

        After manually saving the tunnel interface:

        Jan 24 16:25:23	apinger: command (/usr/local/sbin/pfSctl -c 'service reload dyndns HEIPv6GWv6' -c 'service reload ipsecdns' -c 'service reload openvpn HEIPv6GWv6' -c 'filter reload' ) exited with status: 255

        Jan 24 16:25:14	apinger: SIGHUP received, reloading configuration.
        Jan 24 16:25:13	apinger: alarm canceled: HEIPv6GWv6(2001:470:6e:xx::x) *** down ***

        and gateway up, all working.

        P.S. Looks like the apinger logs are plain useless and confusing due to some bug, as noted another thread.

            It's the same core issue as apinger and others, I'm not sure what the status is but I haven't seen a confirmed fix yet.
