where pfsense stores fw rules? i couldn't find this info using search :(

Settings are stored in /cf/conf/config.xml - everything is generated from there at run time (e.g. the pf ruleset). Do not edit this file, just look! Make all configuration settings through the webGUI.
A copy of the current running pf ruleset is in /tmp/rules.debug
