After upgrade from 1.0.1-snapshot 18-01-2007 captive portal doesn't work.
After manually restart webconfigurator from ssh it shows on termianl window:

    –------------
Restarting webConfigurator...ipfw: getsockopt(IP_FW_GET): Protocol not available

Warning: array_unique(): The argument should be an array in /etc/inc/captiveportal.inc on line 972

Warning: array_diff(): Argument #2 is not an array in /etc/inc/captiveportal.inc on line 978

Warning: array_shift(): The argument should be an array in /etc/inc/captiveportal.inc on line 979
Error: system reached maximum login capacity, no free FW rulenos in captiveportal_allowedip_configure().
    done.

    I have 5 allowed IPs.

    Any ideas?

I'm using the same release and it works for me, but I had the following issues before I rebooted the firewall.

        1. I could browse the web after I activated CP (even if I did not login), but I could not ping any IP addresses on the internet.
        2. I tried to restart CP, but the web configurator crashed right after I did that.

My NAT (Port Forward) rules does not works with "Pass-Through MAC" enabled.

Edit: I think I fixed my problem with NAT by adding a rule in the allowed IP addresses tab. You obviously need to configure both "Pass-Through MAC" and "Allowed IP addresses" if you use NAT with Captive Portal.

I came across with similar problem too, I was using my own version of CP login page on 1.0.1-snapshot without problem. After I updated to 1.2Beta-1, my page couldn't show up properly, all the image files from file manager couldn't be displayed.

I can confirm CP is broken in latest beta.

Do you mean 1.2-BETA-1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-05-14-2007? I'm asking because the other members are talking about an older Beta/Snapshot. Captive Portal in pfSense 1.2Beta-1 works for me, and I don't feel to test the snapshot from 05-14-2007 if it's confirmed to be broken.

I just installed todays snapshot May-25-2007 and i see that CP is broken:

                1. File manager does not upload images (I placed images mannualy to CP main dir and they work ==> something wrong with upload procedure)
                2. Redirect page does not redirect for some reason

Thats it for now, I hope this gonna be fixed soon

UPDATE [May 29]: All fine on todays snap, also curently installed 1.2beta and all good there
