Hi,  anyone having info if there will be support for virtual drivers in future pfsense?

Performance in KVM using normal drivers seem to be bad.

Tried pfsense 2.1 but it did not recognize the virtual device, i was kind of hoping it would..

        Have you tried http://www.freshports.org/emulators/virtio-kmod/ ?

Apparently virtio-kmod is supported in FreeBSD 8.3, although it's supposed to work better in 9.0 … (check http://viktorpetersson.com/2012/01/16/how-to-upgrade-freebsd-8-2-to-freebsd-9-0-with-virtio/ )
