      I have pfsense 2.0.3 with 1internal NIC and 2external NIC(Intel Pro)

External NIC 1 = WAN (dhcp from ISP modem) 192.168.254.202

External NIC 2 = LAN static 192.168.100.1 (dhcp enabled)

i dont enable my Internal NIC yet…

now I got this Wireless PoE Access Point DWL-3200AP

i want to use this access point… and I want to plug it on INTERNAL NIC of my PFsense and create a portal for it later...

      ....
      ...
so i enable my InternalNIC "re0'.. give it a static IP of 192.168.0.1 and enable its DHCP server and set a range...
      .

then I configure my AccessPoint DWL3200AP ... set its IP to 192.168.0.2 and disable its DHCP server... gateway is 192.168.0.1(im not sure about the gateway if its correct)

setup its SSID and set it to opensystem....

then I plug in my accesspoint on pfsense intNic re0 port...

I cant connect to the Internet.. what's wrong with my set-up? please guide me. thanks

re0 is an OPT interface and the default is to block all traffic on an OPT interface.

You need firewall rules to allow traffic to pass through it.
