How does upnp in pfsense actually work?
-
I just configured my pfSense firewall / router and everything from WAN, to LAN, DHCPv4 and DHCPv6 and everything is working flawlessly but I can't seem to figure how the upnp functionally is supposed to work..
Under UPnP and NAT-PMP settings I've enabled UPnP & NAT-PMP, allowing UPnP Port Mapping as well as NAT-PMP Port Mapping on the LAN interface, I have enabled two user specified permissions, one allow 1-65535 192.168.0.0/24 1-65535 and one allow 1-65535 192.168.0.5 1-65535 but still uTorrent on my machine (192.168.0.5) is not able to utilize neither UPnP or NAT-PMP and the upload speeds are crippled to basically nothing.
How am I supposed to get automatic port mapping (UPnP) to work? I know the security risks involved but I just want all my systems to be able to map their required ports automatically without me needing to manually create port forwards for every single application and purpose.

what version are you using? In 2.1 snaps upnpd is currently not running.
