      I installed my Azio© AWD102N pci 802.11b/g/n WiFi card and booted up pfSense.
      It did NOT show up as available, to make an interface.

      I ran:

      $ pciconf -lv

      I belive the entry is HERE:

      none0@pci0:0:5:0:  class=0x028000 card=0x30621814 chip=0x30621814 rev=0x00 hdr=0x00
          class      = network

      In my notes, I see, what I believe I had copied from chip, the chip name:  RT3062F.

      As you know, ifconfig won't work, since the interface "does not exist"…

      Anyone?

      Thanks!

        It looks like to be an RaLink chip that isn't supported by FreeBSD 8.3 that PfSense 2.1 is based on. Try the 2.2 snapshots and see if it's supported there.

          Thanks kpa,

          But… 2.2 is in ALPHA, and I'm not ready to be an alpha tester.

          I've seen web pages that list what drivers are in each particular version of BSD.  But I've not been able to find which driver run specific  chips/cards/wireless devices...
