      who owns a easy plug in dongle that works out of the box?

      need a any current (ie; I can buy off the shelf new) plug in usb wifi dongles that just works and gets recognized on the GUI side?

      List actual USB dongles not the chipsets.

      Thanks!!

      (tried all the forums, search, FREEBSD hardware recomendations etc)

        @fdisk:

        This is totally useless. They change batch from batch. Same model, same vendor, different hwids or even chipset, one working, the other badly broken, yet another not even recognized by the drivers. Been there, done that. Useless. Really useless.

        (In general, for mental's sanity sake, forget about USB dongles.)

          just looking for an easy way to get this going. Blew 24 hours on trying to get my TL-WDR3600 to work with the pfsense so I was looking for an easy out.

          no/little clue about subnets- on the wrl3600 add to this DHCP and wireless clients…... yuk. really not my strong suit.

            1/ Install DD-WRT on it
            2/ Follow this: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Access_Point
            3/ Profit!
