Existing network with pfSense for wireless VLAN?
-
I already did some searching but didn't find anything specific to my needs. I'd like to have a wireless vlan available, as I don't want to give out my giant wireless key to guests.
So, I have a wired network utilizing a Netgear FVS338 router, which from what I've read doesn't support VLAN, and I have two other wireless APs (D-link WIR-615 and another one that I'm not sure about) throughout my house. Is there a way that I can incorporate psSense to one of my networked computers, add another NIC, and plug in another wireless router (as an AP) to create a wireless VLAN for my guests, etc.? Does this make sense? I literally have no idea how to move forward on this. Thanks for your help!

Do you mean "convert one of the existing computers to run pfSense"?
