Comment on pfsense.org home page

The Download link in the header is incorrect when you go to https://blog.pfsense.org/, it points to https://blog.pfsense.org/download/ (which is a rather broken page), instead of https://www.pfsense.org/download/

Thanks doktornotor! fixed now.

Great looking homepage! it is defently better than the old one 8)
But you really need to optimize the page speed! you rating in gtmetrix is pretty bad and i took me almost 12 seconds toload the page :S
i was about to give up because i thought it was broken. -
3 second load for pfsense.org from here, but still an F. My corp site gets a C.

Spellchecker, anyone? :D

my polygon distractions aren't working! :P (I'm working on fixing these issues)
edit: shaved off .83MB and 9 requests from the homepage so far. Also fixed the typo on the blog.

Between jdillard and myself, we've shaved off 2/3rds the page size on www, and gotten it up to an A at 93%. Bit more we can do there, but that's a big jump at least.
Assuming we haven't broken anything in the process, we'll do the same thing here and on our other sites.

I got a little carried away removing things to see what impact they had. I'll be adding it back (slightly optimized) this week.
Nothing is set in stone, but the next major overhaul for the forum I would like to see is a move to Discourse. A thorough "feasibility study" would need to be done first and it would be months of work just to transition. As Chris said though, we will most likely be making server config changes and other optimizations where we can to the forum soon to bring it's grade up.

that would defently make the forum more usable!
