      After upgrading pfsense to release 2.2 my squid/squidguard configuration is not working with the HAVP antivirus package. I'm not sure but I think I remember reading that there is a new setting for the proxy mode that is needed instead of "parent for squid". Does anyone know? I'm using squid / squidguard 3

            reinstalled pfsense 2.2 as a clean installed, reloaded the packages. getting this error now via the antivirus widget package:

            Warning: file_put_contents(/usr/local/etc/havp/havp_conf.xml): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/pkg/havp.inc on line 604

              Maybe it's under /usr/pbi instead of /usr/local

                @marcelloc:

                Maybe it's under /usr/pbi instead of /usr/local

                i used the file manager to create the "hvap" folder in usr/local/etc/ , and rebooted. it then created hvap.inc, but still will not start…suggestions??

                  +1

                  To help others, I created the directory /var/run/clamav and changed permissions.  This allowed clamd.sock to be created and the server to start.  Proxy still gives this error cited in this thread.
