Any chance of looking into this now that the server seems to be more up to date? Would be great to have this on the go easily.

I use Tapatalk for quite a few other forums, and support for pfsense's forum would be great and get me more active on the forums as well as I'm often checking forums when out and about or just away from the PC. And quite often, I'll be doing one thing on the PC while using Tapatalk on my phone at the same time.

I would prefer a supported responsive or mobile theme like one of the following: http://www.smfpacks.com/page/sa=themes
Mobile users currently only account for ~5% of traffic, but they have slowly increased over time (and would likely increase faster with a proper mobile friendly theme).
I'll continue looking into the best solution, but it isn't a super high priority at this time.

There's no reason that both couldn't be supported. I use several forums that have both a mobile friendly theme as well as the tapatalk plugin.

Please, could you add tapatalk support? I use to read forums in a tram on the way to/from office and it is the most convenient way how to be in touch. I am sure that there will be rapid growth of mobile users when you enable tapatalk plugin.

It looks like Tapatalk harvest's user information from the database, so we definitely won't be using it.

Any update on the possibility of getting a skin for the forum which makes it more mobile friendly for browsing?

Suxs that they are trying so hard to inplement new stuff that it comes back and bite them…
A responsive forum would be nice. Like the blog.

I've been trying to keep an eye on responsive SMF themes that actually work, but nothing has really stood out.

Xda Linux questions and a lot of other forums are Tapatalk enabled.
It's not as convenient accessing this via browser -
