      Im looking for a easy way to scan my connection for virusses.
      I tried havp but it starts then after a few seconds the http proxcy quits again no matter what option i try.
      got the same when i install squid.

      squid3 might work but i like to see if the virus definition updates etc like it shows with havp. but cant see that there. I dont really need/want to cache everything just scan it.

        got squid3 running now with clamav

        but it seems to have to manual run Freshclam from the commandline to update it.

        Isnt there a option to enable auto update or do i have to make a cronjob for that?
