OpenVPN TAP BRIDGE Broadcast Traffic

Hi, I setup an OpenVPN TAP Bridge (pfSense 2.1 beta) and it 99% works with Windows clients (still using the TUN setup for Tunnelblick on my Mac though). The problem is it doesn't do what I want - enable use of EnGenius Zone Controller over the link. I can enter a single IP address where it asks for broadcast IP, and it'll work with that AP. If I enter the broadcast IP (172.21.15.255) or default broadcast (255.255.255.255), the result is it not finding any AP's over the TAP bridge.
