Squid3 Question.

I need to scan all incoming traffic if there is a virus.
i tried HAVP antivirus. but the http proxy kept stopping.

so i installed Squid3.  Is there a way to check when it updates the antivirus? and can you choose the interval somewhere i could not find it anywhere.

I installed Cron package and created a cron job with /usr/local/bin/freshclam –quiet  and that did it for me. not sure if I just did patch or work around or what.
