I have installled pfsense 2.2.4 on a new box with squid3 and squidguard installed.

I had discovered that the enabling of the clam-icap service on squid is what was causing the upload speed to tank on pfSense 2.2.3.

This time around clam-icap are turned off and the upload speed seems to be worse on pfsense 2.2.4. See attachment.

I went from a RAID 1 on a xeon server box to a dual core single HDD pentium box.

      Does anyone have any idea?

Hi, having the same issue here. Pages take around 15 seconds to load, downloading files is less than 100kbps. Did you find a solution?
