      hi all this is my first post… :D

      my setup is like this,    isp--->router--->pfsense w/ captive portal -->bridged router---->Nano station (as AP)---->tp-linkwa5210g-->pc
                                                                                                                    l          l      l
                                                                                                                    l          l      l --wired--->pc's/laptops
                                                                                                                    l          l
                                                                                                                    l          l--WIFI-->pc's/laptops
                                                                                                                    l
                                                                                                                    l--- wireless router--->pc

      my problem is all pc's and devices connected to my bridged router either thru wifi or wired and even on another router connected to lan of the bridged router are all redirected to the captive portal which is ok, and also the nano station configured as access point works well, the problem lies with the tp-link wa5210g, i cannot seem to get an internet connection when a device is connected to it.

      i actually placed a wireless router after my bridged one just to see how pfsense would behave after another WAN, it is functioning well. but i think i have to configure something when a device is behind a router, that's behind a router nextt to pfsense... any thoughts?

        @eulereggae:

        Yes.

        Just don't do that.
        Route after router after (etc) - ok, if you're ready to manage the entire chain.
        Experts won't do that, live is just to short. And if they have to, they get paid well to do so.

        Added to that: a router hooked to the "Captive portal" of pfSense creates new, rather undocumented hassle.

        Conclusion : by concept, your setup is 'wrong'.

        No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
        Edit : and where are the logs ??
