Hi,

Scenario:
When I am trying to Connect to PFSense Box Powered SSID using Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 635 Automatic Popup while SSID Selection was not displayed. Based to analysis I found that I need to Block URL www.msftnsci.com. I have blocked this URL from PFSense Firewall.

Issue: Since www.msftnsci.com is used to detect if device is connected to Internet so after blocking from Firewall device will never know if this has internet access even if Mac Address is present in radius

Query : Is there any way by which I can Unblock URL for the User which is free radius Authenticated? I mean block for all users which are not authenticated and allow only for authenticated user? Can it be done with PFSense code changes? (Preferred)

Can you share some examples?

If using SQID or other tools any documentation would really help.

And, the real issue is? This is how CP works by default (unless you whitelist the IP/FQDN) -> no other action needed. If the real issue is that you are hiding the ESSID then simply stop doing. It absolutely NOT adding any security.

added to that : "msftnsci.com" isn't an existing domain name.
