To fix this, you have to build guest kernel with HZ=100 (kernel timer) and without tickless mode.
Would it be possible for this to be included in the next release, or instructions to recompile another kernel?
I am running CentOS 5 as the host, VirtualBox 1.4 and PfSense RC2 as the guest. If anyone needs more info, let me know and I will clarify.
Thanks

Apparently this issue is being looked at by the devs of Virtualbox, but since I am the only one who has made a post on it. I guess we shouldnt worry.
But anyhow, give Virtualbox a go, you will be pleasantly suprised by how good it is.
Has more support than VMWare Server 1.3!

Maybe but pfSense and other BSD platforms run on VMware correctly. ;) Never heard of VirtualBox though and will have to give it a look at.
