Your problem is likely with squidGuard and not Squid.

i did followed it which basically cleared cache. will report back if problem arises.

Clearing the cache won't help if the problem is squidGuard, which it appears to be since the errors are all coming from the URL rewriters, which is squidGuard.

yes i found exact problem
i tried both squid and squid3 and both affected by this problem
when i enable squidfilter and use urlfitler blacklist.. and reboot pfsense … both squid and squidguard would be down. and i cannot run any of them regrardless whether i start squid or squidfilter first.but as soon i REDOWNLOAD the urls in blacklist table and it finishes both services automatically startup..
seems the url downloaded are lost after reboot. .. ?

seems the url downloaded are lost after reboot. .. ?
- Stop running this on nanobsd
- Or, stop enabling /var and /tmp ramdisks!!!

this is not nanobsd.. this is inside a hypervisor running in vmware on dell optiplex 755 c2d 2.33 and 12GB ram..
also /var and /tmp ramdisk disabled as per gui.when i go to System: Advanced: Miscellaneous > under heading RAM Disk Settings (Reboot to Apply Changes) …
below option is unchecked.
