      hi to all, i am having some issue in squid. squid is only working to those computer with static ip address using static mapping in dhcp. while those computer which set to obtain ip address automatically is not working. how do i make it work? i will attach my settings here

        Define 'is not working'.  Errors?  Timeouts?  Do you have ports 80/443 blocked to enforce usage of the proxy?

            hi. if i enable "allow users on interface" those computer using dhcp can't browse anything even google.com. i got a problem loading page error. but those computer with static ip address using static mapping can browse anything..

              Yes. Perhaps you should start with fixing your DHCP.

                how? but if i disable squid service, dhcp is working and they can access internet

                  these are my dhcp settings.
                  if i enable the squid service, those computer with static mapping are the only one can connect the internet. i really wanted to use squid for caching. please help.

                    by the way the error i am getting is err_connection_timed_out in google chrome. and im not blocking the port 80/443

                      if i check the logs, only those with static ip are appearing.  :(  :-\  :'(

                        Turn on 'Resolve DNS IPv4 First' this is necessary.
