Subject kinda says it.  I am unable to Restore from backup using web interface (see "pfSense 2.2.5 on VMWare - Restore Times-Out").  Could someone please walk me through an alternative method for placing the backup config file in the proper location on the virtual guest.  I've never had much luck moving files from desktop to VM.  Thanks.

"I've never had much luck moving files from desktop to VM."

Then you have a underlying network/vm issue, or problem with your desktop - I would suggest you fix that before running your router/firewall on a vm…

johnpoz - please see my response to you under "pfSense 2.2.5 on VMWare - Restore Times-Out".  Also, you might want to take a look at "[solved in 2.2.6] 2.2.5 problems with XMLRPC sync - the server 2 is not updated" which seems to hint others are seeing my problem.

This issue has been resolved by updating to pfSense 2.2.6.  I no longer need help with this.
