      Hi,
      I was wondering if someone could help me on why I can ping my file share server and I can access the RDP but cannot access the share on the run section then \192.168.1.202

      If i try it with PPTP works fine

        you might want to enable netbios over tcp if you want to access smb..  ie \computername or \ipaddress

        See that checkbox you don't have checked.

        Also when you use pptp what network are you on.. Is the pptp connection a bridged sort of connection where you on the same lan network segment?  If so its quite possible windows firewall will block access from your tunnel IP your client is coming from since its not same local segment.  Windows firewall blocks access to its shares from other networks out of the box.

          Thank you for the reply I reedited see pictures and still nothing i did ipconfig/all everything seems to be good

          not sure what could be wrong :(

          I have been reading other parts they say to bridge the adapter which i did and it was worse lolz..

            why would you put in a scope??    You sure and the hell do not need that.. And even if you wanted to do that - that is not how you would do it ;)

            I access files shares all the time from vpn client - your server firewall, the box your trying to access is most likely blocking it.. Like I said out of the box windows blocks access to file shares from anything not on its own network..

            So 192.168.90.6 is not the same network as 192.168.1

              thank you so much I realized that bit defender what blocking the connection to the adapter I edited the adapter as trusted
