Traffic Graphs Widget Not Working IE11
-
Works fine for me, on 2.2.5 and 2.3, latest IE 11 on Windows 8.1. Haven't heard of any issues with IE there. You'll need compatibility mode off, but a lot more than just that would be broken with it on.
What does it look like?
Try clearing your IE cache.

Apologies for the late reply - Cache cleared already and any third party addons disabled.
I've attached a screendump of the issue.
Many thanks

I've tried this on several other virtual machines running a mix of Server 2012 R2 and Windows 7 and the same issue occurs.
For reference, when using Firefox it works fine. I've attached a screendump from Firefox which is displaying SVG properly.
I've also noticed that in IE11 the 'obtaining release status' is never returned.
-
Still works fine here on 2.2.6 and 2.3, and for everyone else it would appear. SVG is broken in your IE for some reason.

Works for me using any browser (even IE is doing great last several years).
IE11 (non-polluted) - Windows 7 (or whatever).
pfSense 2.2.6 (or whatever older version).Solution : ditch your PC, take another PC or even your smartphone - then 'draw' you own conclusions.
Btw : thanks for the tip : it actually works great on my iPhone - so I confirm that it works on Safari and Firefox on iPhone too ;)
-
I've just built a clean Windows 8.1 VM. Exactly the same problem.
I'm starting to suspect an issue on the Pfsense side! - I'm on 2.2.6.
Which files should I check? I'm guessing traffic_graphs.widget.php..
Many thanks guys

I don't use IE for anything but on my Win 8.1 box, I get the same output. Also, the NTP widget doesn't display anything, and all of the top menus are skinny.
-
Glad to see I'm not completely alone on this issue! - Looks like your 'obtaining update status' also doesn't refresh successfully.
-
All these widgets have one thing in common : this jquery (whatever) javascript thing.
So : what did you guys do to your browsers that this does not work for you ?I know pfSense works …. any browser works, just checked on XP (yes, I know, old PC), Win 7-32 Win-64, Win 8.1, Win 8.2 and a 10 system, using IE (version 8, 11), Firefox and Chrome.
As said above : check with your smartphone - it should work.

Figured it out. By default, IE 11 runs any intranet sites in Compatibility mode. To fix, click the Settings gear in the top-right corner. Select Compatibility View settings. Uncheck Display intranet sites in Compatibility View. The page will immediately refresh and the graphs are now visible.
Edit: I suspect that this only applies if you have something in Control Panel - Internet Options - Connections - LAN Settings - Advanced - Exceptions, with Bypass proxy server for local addresses checked.
