No date yet for completion.  Converting both packages to Boostrap is a big job.

        Hi Bill!

Any update on how are things going, now that we are in BETA I would be glad to bump 2 of my production setups to this.

        Thanks!

Snort and Suricata are still a work in progress in terms of the GUI package.  One of the pfSense developers is working on Suricata.  I have not checked with him of late to see what his progress is.  I know they all have been busy with getting the core pfSense code ready.

Both packages will be available for 2.3, but we did not get them ready in time for the BETA release.

It's not going to be pretty… CSS issues and icon buttons missing... but I was able to install and set it up with a simple configuration last night on a VM... seems to be running just fine though.

                Yeah I know that :)
Point is that it`s running, I can live without pretty gui for a few weeks :)

Yes, it should work.  The GUI is just broken in some places and not pretty in all places.  That part is being worked as is updating to the new Suricata 3.0 Release Candidate binary base.

                      Thanks!

I am slowly but surely getting Snort ported.  I have about 10 more files to touch.  I have other commitments which prevent me from devoting my full time to porting Snort to Bootstrap and pfSense 2.3.  Some of the pfSense developer team is working on porting Suricata.  Both of these packages contain lots of PHP code and do not use the XML pkg_edit framework, so porting is a somewhat laborious process.

The porting process has taken me a lot longer than I originally anticipated.  Sorry about that.
