Samba isn't included in the 'official' package list in the GUI, but you can use 'pkg-add' to install it manually. The following link is a couple of years old but may point you in the right direction:

PS: This post should really be in the Packages section.

What does samba have to do with proxy authentication to AD??

Squid can be configured to use the ntlm_auth helper to hook into winbind, the authentication mechanism for Samba. The Samba instance can be bound to an AD domain and can parse the Squid authentication details to AD directly. I've set up Squid/Dansguardian in this very way at work, though not with PFS. You can also create ACLs bound to AD group membership using Dansguardian.

And that can be done via just simple ldap as well… no need to use ntlm_auth.

Fair enough. It's been a while since I've looked at this particular combination (Squid/AD) so I guess I fell out of the loop a bit.
