      Hi,

I am trying to permanently change an option in my vnstat.conf file (add the "UnitMode 1" option) to go along with my ISP monitoring. Why does it keep overwriting the file everytime I enable/disable the php frontend on the config page? I have tried adding an XML option to add the UnitMode tag but it doesnt seem like I'm doing it right.

Does anyone have a solution for me? I don't want to leave the php frontend enabled as it is not password protected on the net

I have also applied changes to /usr/local/www/vnstat2/config.php (remove interfaces) that are overwritten when I enable/disable anything in the config page.

I would love to understand where the "origin" of the overwriting comes from

I have finally found it. It's in "/usr/local/pkg/vnstat2/vnstat2.inc". I changed it there so it always overwrites with the hardcoded option.

          1 problem at a time! :)
