OpenVPN on symmetrical fiber data line
-
Greetings all, I upgraded our main office to a symmetrical 100/100 fiber connection and purchased brand new 8860 security appliance as our old Cisco router wasn't capable of supporting higher speeds. Everything went well during initial setup and I had no issues for almost a month since I installed it except for a slow openVPN speeds. No matter what I've tried I could not get higher than 2MB/s speeds on my Windows clients. Our primary domain controller is windows server 2008 R2 that also serves as a dhcp server for our internal network and I used a default 1194 port during the openVPN install. When I measure http traffic speed on our domain controller I always get close to 100mb/s up and down. Any advice would be highly appreciated!
Thank you

So you're using Remote access VPN on an 8860 with windows clients connecting to it and accessing a windows server on LAN?
And to clarify are you getting 2Mbits or 2MBytes (16Mbits) per second on the clients?
How did you configure the VPN? tun/UDP?
