a recent time, I realized that the firmware download has become very slow, I realized that it ends up being downloaded less than 1 Mbps, my internet is 15Mbps, one after time I lowered the firmware at full speed of my internet. .

My question is: download server changed? and when pfsense 2.3 we evaluated mirror ?

another question out of context would be this:
when pfsense is released, we will have available beta updates for people who like the dangerous life like me?

The snaps have been slow to download for me all week. I'm mentioned it in another post.

You were probably hitting our backup path, where we were having issues with a fiber link. That should be cleared up now.

Yes, we'll have 2.3.1 snapshots going shortly after release.

How will this work? Do we have an option to choose stable vs beta in the upgrade settings?

I would imagine that just as it is set now, the Firmware Branch setting (System > Updates > Update Settings) will likely need to be set to "Development" to get the pre-release builds. The final release build will likely have it defaulted to "Stable".
