      hi there,

i have installed Pfsense in virtualBox. 1 Network Adopter is installed with Bridge network setting.
pfsense can get the ip address from the external network , and can ping all the network outside.
but from outside any host can not ping the guest pfsense server.

i am afraid if there is firewall blocking any host to ping the server. but if i install the pfsense in any individual CPU it works fine.

      please help.

      Haroon

The default rules on WAN do not allow ICMP packets so you can't ping WAN unless you add a rule.
