Hm, php-fpm left a core file there, so it crashed for some reason. That probably won't be telling without symbols, but if you can get me a copy of it (download /var/run/php-fpm.core from Diag>Command or scp) I'd like to see it.

                To remove it:

                rm /var/run/php-fpm.core

sorry ! I've restarted the firewall & clear the system logs before reading your response, and disk usage back to normal

I will inform you if this situation occurs again. thank you very much for your help!  ;)

                          Hi!

I unfortunately don't have the core dump (if it crashes again I will download it) but I had the same problem with 2.3.1…

In my case it also seems to have made the DNS resolver stop resolving stuff which caused my phone system to go nuts (it could no longer resolve some of my providers). Does that make sense that it could cause that?

Thank you and have a nice day!

                          Nick

That should be OK if you update to 2.3.2. Otherwise, see https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=111836.msg634122#msg634122
