I just upgraded pfsense to 2.3 and I see that these packages are not available yet. I have an APC Back-Ups 1300X connected to my pfsense box, modem, switch etc which give me an unbelievable 90 minutes of on battery run time. Is there any word when they will be made available for 2.3? Incidentally, I'd prefer to use one or the other but NUT only give you a widget with stats about the UPS but has no settings to specify what to do with the UPS in the event of power outage. APCUSB is the exact opposite and I wish these great tools were combined into one.

Curious about this as well.  I used this extensively to ensure my system would stop properly and it also doubled as being able to see when my power went out remotely and of course time remaining.

If there are still bounties and this needs one I would be game to donate.

Actually probably a better post if it was put either in general or packages forums but-
