im up and running with a pfsense router for 2 weeks now, and it works good, but i dont know what kind of packages that i need to install to get the best security from this router?

i have installed HAVP antivirus, snort and squid.

are these packages ok or do i need anything more to get maximum security on my router?

For "maximum security on my router" just remove all firewall rules on the WAN interface :)

Hello friend, do not get it right …
To leave my pfsense safe, just delete all the rules of WAN or block / reject everything?
Another thing, this procedure will prjudicar something in the system, type the package manager or updates?

Ps: Sorry for my english, I'm using google translator kkkkk

Default rule is DROP, so removing all rules on WAN will block all incoming SYN requests.
