Cannot upload files across internal networks
-
Hi,
I must be missing something ..I have a few OPT interfaces, there is a webserver on one and clients on another opt interface cannot upload files to that webserver. (They can upload files to the webserver from the same network, and can access the webserver from the other network… just not upload). Any ideas on why this would be the case?
My firewall rules are permitting traffic to the webserver (The can browse the server fine).

Just found that TINY files work (a 24kb file works).
Is there somewhere that is limiting the http request size? -
Odd, sounds like a MTU problem, which shouldn't be an issue in a LAN. Are you using VLAN's? Anything else atypical about your network or setup?

I am using VLANS
The internal network with the web server is on a 'raw interface' but there are also vlans in use on that interface.
The internal network that I cannot upload to the webserver from is on a vlan on another physical interface. -

Never assign the interface you use for vlans. If i misunderstood you, a diagram is needed? :)

So that is my problem you think/?
That i am using 'raw' interfaces and vlans on them?

I have my switch configured to use both vlans 3 tagged and vlan 1 untagged on the same interface. Can pfsense not handle that?
Woudl i have to use both of them as tagged for pfsense?
