Remote view of Portal Page

I'd like to be able to see the portal page remotely (from WAN side) for remote support purposes. I've tried opening port 8004 on WAN port to no avail. Has anyone been able to get this to work without downloading the whole portal and opening it locally?

Creating firewall rule isn't the way to go.
You should create a NAT rule (which will create a default firewall rule).

replace domain and zone_name according to your setup. works via the standard https port.
I raised a bug that the URL in the webinterface to view this is wrong, but it hasn't been handled so far.
