It seems that most of the pfBlockerNG stuff is in one giant thread but I figured making another thread with my issue seemed more appropriate.

I'm not sure what to make of what's going on with pfBlocker.  The widget shows information as if it's working but the Status-Services screen shows dnsbl as Stopped.  If I drop to shell and run "ps -aux | grep dnsbl" then nothing shows up.  How do I get the service running?  And how is there data on the Status page if it isn't running?  Also, in the Firewall -> pfBlockerNG -> Logs I get errors for error.log and dnsbl.log as both say "Failed to read log file." when I try to view them.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

        Hi Stewart,

And how is there data on the Status page if it isn't running?

Can you post a screenshot of the widget?

For DNSBL to start, you need to ensure:

        1. DNSBL is enabled
        2. Defined the DNSBL VIP
        3. Defined the Listening Ports

Then add your DNSBL Feeds and follow that with a "Force Update".

And that's where I went wrong.  I thought that by enabling it on the General Tab that enabled everything.  I should have checked the DNSBL tab since, you know, that's the service that wasn't running.  I guess it's because in my previous build it didn't have the extra options.  Am I correct in seeing that pfBlockerNG General is IP and Region blocking and that the DNSBL blocks based on DNS categories like Advertising?  I guess it's changed a lot since my last setup!  I don't usually do the updates since things tend to break when I do but then I get thrown when there are extra things I'm not expecting.  Good Job!
