      Hello guys,

I have build  a pfsense router and have multiply subnets.

      LAN1 192.168.1.0
      LAN2 192.168.2.0

I cant access any files from lan1 to lan2 and contrariwise. I cant ping it either. The computer on Lan2 has ip 192.168.2.13 and my computer  192.168.1.10 nothing works. I have to add rule in firewall to any and nothing works. I want too be able to ping and share files between computers like homegroup in windows. I really need help have tried this for  4 days now.

Well for starters homegroups use ipv6 to talk, and you have to be on the same ipv6 network even.

As to pinging eachother  Yeah out the box windows 7 firewall will block pings from anything other than its own local network.

Firewall in Windows 10 is off.

OK, so I need to setup a ip6v network for both lan with same subnet?
