Connecting Yealink IP-Phone to OpenVPN
-
Trying to configure built-in OpenVPN client (Yealink T26P, T28P and T38G IP-Phones) according to this guide :
http://www.sunstatetechnology.com/docs/YealinkOpenVPNGuide.pdf
not connecting :-\ I looked on Internet and found that config path for certificates needs to be changed in vnc.cfg file - changed it… still no VPN connection :-\
Anybody who connected Yealink IP-Phone to pfsense OpenVPN - please advise how to fix that problem :)

I suppose you can just embed your CA, cert, etc. into vpn.cnf
BTW, this is the guide from the vendor web site. -
The problem was - Time Sync: the IP-Phone must have acurate time before rtying to connect to OpenVPN server
Just set public NTS address in Yealink Network Settings and OpenVPN connects OK
here is the guide: https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/OpenVPN_Client_Export_Package
_**"SNOM and Yealink Handsets
Also ensure the phones have an accurate clock and that it is set before the VPN connection is attempted. "**_

please can you send YealinkOpenVPNGuide file one more time.
