      Hi,

I have a simple captive portal with no authentication.
So its just a connect button.

But I have to click that button twice to be able to connect to wifi.
Is this a bug? or is it because I use it without authentication?

There is no redirected Url entered.
So if I connect to guest wifi, I can see the CP than I hit the connect button (nothing happens), than I click again.
And now the success page appears.

Well its not a big issue but I would like to fix it to connect with one click.

      Thanks

      Steve

What version of pfSense are you running?

          I use 2.3

Well so far I use the work around, that I entered a redir url.
In this case its enough to click once on connect.

But I guess it should be the same without redirurl?

If memory serves me well, there was a bug related to the new web server (nginx what new starting from 2.3), some time out issue existed with the portal that a solved rather quickly.
            The actual version

            2.3.2-RELEASE (amd64)
built on Tue Jul 19 12:44:43 CDT 2016
            FreeBSD 10.3-RELEASE-p5

has lesser old bugs - and known 'known' recent bugs.

Be careful when you insist using old software ;)

The 'redirul' always works, BUT : do you use the correct "html login page framework" (for example : the default one that comes with pfSense).

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??
