It took me forever to find out why suddenly inbound port forwards that were properly set, along with their firewall rules, stopped working.
They resumed operation after disabling the captive portal.
Even more odd, is that if I added an allowed IP address in the form of "LAN_IP -> any" to the captive portal settings, the forwards seemed to work then as well.

      Any ideas?
      Need more info?

      Regards,
      Bryan

          information….

Is the client to which you are forwarding ports on the permanent allow list?
Because it not he will be blocked from answering to packets comming in and redirected to the CP.

We do what we must, because we can.

If you're refering to the pass-through lists, then yes.
I had already added all my machine's MAC addresses to the list before turning on the Captive Portal.
