Trying to do HTTP Redirect

I am just trying to setup an http redirect and when I enable captive portal on my interface I type in the url for the redirect and click save I get page cannot be displayed.  This has happened with multiple versions of PFSense I am currently running 1.2RC3.  Any ideas?

Check DNS.  DNS MUST be pointed to the firewall on the client in question.

Did you try with full url ?

Something like : http://www.google.com

Worked for me as I can remember…
