I watched a youtube about pfBlocker and decided to install it to block my most hated break in countries (I run a VPS and know who to hate).  I was going to block these countries with the block lists, but I then read that this was not necessary, because pfSense automatically blocks everything that tries to come in that wasn't invited.  Is this correct and what use is pfBlocker otherwise?

pfBlocker will block people from accessing resources that you have made public for everyone else.  For most home users who aren't forwarding any servers, you probably don't need this.  For businesses that have a web server and other public servers, this can block nonsense from dodgy countries that would never do real business with you in the first place.

IMHO Its just as important to protect the outbound… YMMV
